Hi Reader!I recently read an article in Entrepreneur where Megan said success isn't about being seen. It’s about being understood. Megan have had so many viral videos, before even having a record deal she became a known rapper for her freestyle talent. She said: “People share things for the sake of being seen — versus being understood,” she says. “I never was trying to just be seen. I wanted you to feel something. When you see me, I want you to feel like, ‘Oh my gosh, I know her. Or I want to know her.’” And I think she is so right! For so many business owners, the goal on social media is just visibility. Get more views. Get more followers. Get seen. But what's the point of being seen if they don't get what you're about? What's the point of a million views from people who will never be your clients? Being understood is a different game. It’s not about shouting to the masses. It’s about honing in so much on one specific thing and speak to the people who need to hear it. It’s about your ideal client feeling a connection, like you’re reading their mind. It’s about them getting to know you, the real you, and trusting you. It’s about THEM also feeling seen by you. That’s when the algorithm doesn't matter. That's when the vanity metrics fade away. Hope this helped!
